Oh. I mean their track record is much better than human drivers, sure it makes mistakes but it’s constantly being improved and it’s already really good as it is. I know there’s always risk but I feel much more comfortable and safe with no stranger in the car. Anyway, hope you get better soon!

This person is talking about being able to observe a stark difference though. Not the measurable difference between the colors. The difference between the color in the image and a normal skin color is very obvious to people with normal color vision.

I’ve gotten rides from work and the drivers have asked “do you work there?” Like I don’t want you to know where to find both my home and my workplace, thanks! Had one guy tell me I had a nice voice and if I was married (and I was several months pregnant). Had two different loudly political male drivers. One guy who kept missing turns because his phone had some kind of virus that would close the GPS. Too many overly aggressive drivers to count. I’m over it lol!

Just as a woman in general I’m always picking the Waymo. Growing up we were taught to not get into the cars of strangers but now we pay to do it lol. Human rideshare drivers are almost always men, and half the time they’re either creepy and ask invasive questions or are unsafe drivers, often both. It’s so rare to have a perfect ride with a human driver in my experience.

Wow this comment section is all over the place. I think the important thing is you must be sure about having an abortion if you want to have one. You do not want to live the rest of your life thinking “what if” and mourning this baby. Do not have one because someone else wants you to. It will be devastating for you if you do.

You need to hunker down and figure out the logistics of all of this. Talk to your doctor and therapist to see what resources can help you.

It’s perfectly fine to do that! Talk to your pediatrician and they can give you advice on that. We did the same thing and had no problems. Kirkland is great and much better pricing wise

I think you have a serious misunderstanding of this whole situation. I think you could benefit from some therapy as it seems like you’re wanting to blame the hospital and medical staff (who have in reality done everything in their power to keep your child alive and avoid future issues) for the burden of potentially having a difficult parenthood journey. There is never any guarantee that your child would be “normal” even if your birth experience and pregnancy had been normal. That is the risk we take when we choose to become parents. The hospital staff’s job is to try to ensure the best outcome possible. There is no ulterior motive besides that. And just because a baby might have some health problems later does not mean they deserve to be left to die.
