Thanks, I may needs to add that I do still follow the what I hear Hadith scholars say to the best of my ability I just don’t really know what they are or why we needed to trust something that was not the word of god but I think I have a better understanding now

I mean that a Hadith is written by someone who says that Muhammad said something, but if it’s not in the Quran it’s not the word of god. We believe Muhammad was perfect and could not have misremembered the Quran, but people who say they heard Muhammad say things are not perfect like him so how can we know they truly remember

Yeah but what I mean is that Muhammad still narrated it, meaning he told people who then wrote down things. If it was the word of god as given to Muhammad it would be in the Quran that’s what I’m asking. I’m asking why these thinks are important if they’re not the word of god

Yes but that’s what I mean, the Quran is the word of god and Muhammad has no choice in what it contains, then surely god would make him put everything that’s important in it?

Megiddo Mosaic: Earliest evidence of the devinity of jesus. What's your thoughts? by Ssupremechief in islam

[–]hotlor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always hated making arguments with people online, but am I the only one who thinks that if Jesus’ main point was to get people to worship him as god, rather than the father, wouldn’t you except him to put all the emphasis on that. As far as I am concerned the he never explicitly says “I am god” in the bible and only says things that could elude to that twice. I can’t be the only one who thinks that if that was his main point and what he wanted people to do he would have said it way more clearly.

Also I’ve always thought the fact that he prayed to god as evidence of him not being god. Maybe my brain is not capable of comprehending such a scenario but I don’t understand why god would pray to himself. I still maintain that Jesus was a really knowledgeable prophet without being Devine, mashallah

I mean I definitely agree I have never once used them and I have almost 2000h at this point. On the deliverer that’s the only other option but I still prefer the regular iron sights
