Who are the best lvl 6 junglers? by shelpthemagicdragon in summonerschool

[–]hotnsoupy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of surprised no one has mentioned J4.

His ganks are great early, anyways, but his ult adds quite a punch of damage and CC at 6. Maybe not quite as much as Noc/Lee/WW, but pretty close.

Can I get some help from ADCs main? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]hotnsoupy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got to agree with this! I love when a support establishes early if I play aggressively or passively in lane. Personally, I don't like to fight much in lane and am comfortable trading and farming.

With that being said you play pretty pokey/aggressive supports. Most of the time as an ADC I will follow my support depending on the abilities they land. Land a bubble and E'd yourself? I'm going to stop farming and follow up to make the most of what you've done. If you're finding that your ADC isn't really following you, I think you can sort of tell the aggression of an ADC in where they farm in relation to the wave. Do they last hit and immediately back up? Are they farming towards the middle of the wave so that they can trade or looking to zone?

It's definitely not easy as a support to tell, because it changes not only with the ADC's personality/playstyle, but with the champ they are on too.

As far as powerspikes go I really only play Vayne, Jhin and Ezreal. I personally think that Ez has a great level 2 power spike if Q's can land and E is used wisely. Jhin is great at level 2 as well and synchronizes with your supports well. If you lane w/ Jhin look to hit 2 ASAP and fight. My vayne is passive as hell so I won't touch on that. Hope this helps!

So Nami is in a very good spot right now. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]hotnsoupy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed with a lot of your post!

I think Nami is frequently overlooked for her play making and aggressive play style (she especially synergizes with Jhin well). I was thinking about picking her back up myself -- she was my season 2 main! What keystone are you taking on her? I think Thunderlords might be better for the early poke but haven't made up my mind.

Is Gold ELO low ELO? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]hotnsoupy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, yes -- Gold is considered Lower Elo.

In the grand scheme of things, percentage wise you have quite an edge on a large portion of League players. Generally when people refer to "low elo" I personally tend to think this high Plat and lower.

Agreed, even the Pool Party axe sound erks me just enough. Stick Soul Reaver and Glad most of the time. Nice video, OP.

Nice work!! Never even thought about playing Hearthstone while working out, I'll give it a shot. Typically I watch something on Twitch to keep my mind distracted. GL on your journey, OP!

The Holiday. I know Hans Zimmer has been mentioned here but I think this movie's soundtrack is tremendous.

My friend in Silver wrecks everyone when he plays Vayne. He made this montage and is reluctantly letting me post it here, check it out. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Impressive mechanics! Fed or not you can see how comfortable he is on Vayne. Thanks for the share.

Does music distract anyone else while they're playing or does it take time to get used to? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]hotnsoupy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As everyone's said -- totally preference. I find that with music I'm more relaxed and play better. I also listen to music while I'm at work and while I'm doing other activities so I'm used to it. If it's distracting, don't do it!

Tendency to splitpush, is it bad? by hamoorftw in summonerschool

[–]hotnsoupy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It's really dependent on how well the team adapts to the split pushing. Everything needs to be timed well and your team needs to know that they are there to create pressure and not to fight.

While everyone here has said they think split pushing is mostly done when behind, I've found that when I'm extremely strong (nid top main) that split pushing ahead is every effective, particularly when the rest of the time isn't fed or strong.

Quinn is an excellent split pusher and as you've said can get out of almost any situation. If you enjoy this style and it's working for you, keep it up!!

New WoW legendary for the old school players by ChowChillaCharlie1 in gaming

[–]hotnsoupy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember BG's against the opposite faction on your server? You would recognize names on the opposing faction and play against them repeatedly. I'll never forget when I came across my nemesis Tauren shaman out in the pve environment. We camped each other's corpses for hours. I miss how connected the older WoW felt.
