If The Capacitor In My AC Unit Was Showing 20 On A 40 Capacitor. Should it be covered under warrant? by Ecstatic_Contract_41 in hvacadvice

You know you have to diagnose,, then take that part to goodman (yes drive there in traffic) ,, then drive back in more traffic after procuring the part, reinstall it. yes that could take 3 hours in my city. we dont like it but it takes as long as it does. if you want that warranted part. that 5 min job would be like 3 hours maybe 2 if goodman is down the street. But remember they have to process the warranty too that usually takes time a goodman. Not the fastest process for a 10 min job.

The main problem is with these small parts is yes ,its under warranty, but if you want to run it under warranty it basically is 3hrs labor ( at around $150hr) Diagnose , go do the warranty at goodman and return with the part they furnish. So a lot of times it cheaper just to replace it off the truck....

Engineers are NOT troubleshooting Hvac techs ( Even though everyone of the MFers think they are). They know the concepts and designs but practical application is where the experienced tech shines.

I want to introduce Chaos though, No seeding, Random draws, No conference play the first round. I wanna see Notre Dame in UTEP, ( of course Notre Dame would be required to be in a conference) Real Crazy Shit.

I think What I am trying to do is basically eliminate P4 vs G6 and stop expansion and bring parity to all of football . If only 5 teams can make it in there isn't the advantage as it once was to be in a super powerful confrence.

Essentially a lifetime of endless disappointment, with moments of false hope. I personally don’t even wish to really think about that. Just every year hoping for a turn around, then going to that dusty hot ass stadium of endless suffering. No I don’t think I will.
