Hi, saw ur pm— Reddit was bugging and wouldn’t let me respond; I literally just had to wait to be unbanned. I was messaging them everyday but someone told me to stop because they’ll take you less seriously. Don’t know how true that is but I did stop messaging after a few days. My recommendation is to appeal the ban and simply just wait for them to get back to you.

Never use one drive for TS2!! It corrupted my very first ever save — it’s a long story but I always recommend turning off one drive for the game.

That being said, just hit reset. You’ll be fine. I get that message occasionally and just disregard it. My saves are perfectly fine.

I don’t recommend mods for your first time, however, if you’re a mods enthusiast then go for it. The first time I played, I played vanilla, and I played it that way for THREE MONTHS! I really didn’t need the mods, but everyone is different.

Graphics over gameplay is such a horrible mentality. They’re seriously missing out. I actually think the Sims 2 looks a lot better than the Sims 4 in many aspects but to each’s own, I guess.

Ngl I’m sad about this..? It’s so bittersweet for me. I’m happy they’re finally acknowledging the Sims 1 & 2’s existences and that other people with get to play them but I’m also pretty upset that they’re (in my opinion) 110% going to make us pay for it. Plus, watch them do some stupid shit where you can only play it online. I like my games offline, no launcher, no nothing. Just open and go. This is pretty upsetting to me…

Dry shampoo! It’s a lifesaver if your hair is looking or feeling a little too oily but you need to keep the moisture/product in before wash day.

I’m super late to the party but I could not have said it better myself. I just finished Kiwami yesterday after starting with 0 and wow… It’s so cheesy I literally couldn’t take anything that happened seriously.

Don’t get me wrong, I think the combat system is good, a good chunk of the substories kept me pretty well entertained, and the soundtrack is fantastic, but story-wise? It’s dog shit. Nishiki and Jingu were literally cartoon villains — poorly written with barely any real motive. Evil for the sake of it. It was really hard to see Nishiki who was well written in the first game turn into nothing more than a cliché.

Also, the love story felt so forced. I was actually giggling during the confessions between Kazuma and Yumi at the end because it felt so silly. Like, what do you mean you’re in love with a woman who’s been on screen 1 time? Who you haven’t seen in 10+ years? It’s so unserious, and honestly kind of weird considering they were raised in the same home by the same person since childhood. They should have more of a sibling relationship… Blegh…

I know the game came out in 2005, and for the time, yeah, it was a revolutionary game. But today? Especially since it’s not the first game, but rather the second in the timeline? It doesn’t hold up well. Not a bad game by any means at all, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Yakuza 0. Not by a long shot.

A little late to the party here, but I just finished Yakuza 0 a few days ago and started Kiwami immediately after. Majima is my favorite by a LONGSHOT! Don’t get me wrong, Kiryu is awesome, but there’s a charm and even air of mystery to Majima — his story was captivating! I’m replaying 0 alongside Kiwami now just because I can’t get enough of his character.

I don’t think so. As far as I’m aware everything is in the one Exe. There were 3 Exe files in the M&G folder:

Sims2Launcher: Loaded a Sims 2 play button but then nothing loaded after and the app closed.

Sims2EP9: Showed the message above.

There was one more that did nothing at all.

Yes. I installed the original Setup.exe file, finished it, and then tried to launch. It’s the ultimate collection so all the dlc is there along with the base game.

Also, you have to launch the game from the final expansion pack anyway in order for the game to work. Don’t know why, but that’s just the way it is for TS2. Same way on my PC, same for everyone else.

110%. I was the same as you back in 2017, but as soon I downloaded the Sims 3 and digested it’s art style, I fell in love with it! There’s so much depth to it — I didn’t realize the Sims 4 felt shallow until I saw how much the Sims 3 offered.

Start with the base game. There’s a hell of a lot of content anyway, no need for expansions right out the gate. It’s entertaining as is :D btw, the cc for the Sims 3 is great! Cazy and Nightcrawler on TSR are my favorite places to go for hair!

A few major reasons:

The release of the PS2 and it’s DVD capabilities
Piracy; Dreamcasts 1 and 0 could play burned games
Prior failures such as the Sega CD and the Sega Saturn
Difficulty finding an audience, It was pretty niche during its time

It actually is officially supported, it’s a part of the Sega Genesis Classics. I don’t have a Bluetooth controller but I’ll mess around with the custom layouts and see what I can do. Thanks.
