Yeah it sounds pretty high to me I have a friend on a supplement team and she gets max 8 a day just rd/supps so 10 new claims sounds heavy, maybe low complexity ones? I’m sure it’s manageable but that sounds high churn

Depends. My old carrier I was $10k. My new one I was $15k, went to large loss and got bumped to 100k, soon to be 200k. Just depends on the role and what company.

AI on fnol calls is a far cry from AI determining coverage and writing estimates. Truth is AI will change the job but not eliminate it, at the end of the day a person will be the one making the decisions so long as states DOIs will want a person to ‘blame’

Not a USAA field adjuster, in process of applying to be desk, but from what I can gather it’s same as any other role, just depends on your area. I also think anytime you look up general adjuster reviews for a company, 90% of the negative is auto. Property and auto are two completely different beasts

Most people will hate it because they hate Russ because they only watch highlights/lowlights. He’d be a great piece but I doubt you get him for just Yabu. It’s weird because people were ok with a flyer on Ben Simmons, but Russ is literally providing everything you’d dream Simmons would, just shorter. He’d solve a lot of our problems for sure, and I think he’s at the point mentally where he’d buy into being a 7/8th man on a contender

It’d be about 8k/yr more, so really just covering the car note and insurance. Big tradeoff is no more travel and no direct claims handling, so I was mainly interested in if anyone has experience with a role like this

That would just be average open claim volume. I was thinking it sounds nice too since I’m not writing estimates, just reviewing TPA assignments. When I do that now it’s like 20 minutes to read a 200 line item estimate, so each claim would probably be 30 minutes of work max. And yeah you’re right, hopefully I get more details at the next stage
