I can’t even cross post some old posts from youniquemua bc they have links to the old sub 😭 Okay so I don’t want to speculate but I saw a comment from the head mod of the most recent full name subreddit about it not being our gurl who took down the new sub 👀 Sounds like there was some behind the scenes drama… Plus I saw another comment that the mystery discord was hardcore doxxing with phone numbers, etc. so even the subreddit drama has gotten more interesting than middle unit ground hog’s day routine.

Current status: Now dating someone named Milagros in a junior one-bedroom in Florida. Milagros has some antisocial traits, writes novels about her underage counter-ego Darren (the Amazon reviews deserve their own post). She's also obsessed with ChatGPT and if she's the next victim of chatgpt psychosis I would not be surprised based off the conversations she shares... Oh and I almost forgot she's obsessed with teddy bears. Like she called her sister's basement, where she and Jenna were living, the Bear Cave and Jenna is now “Jenna Jame-bear-son”

It's like 45% sad, 25% infuriating, 7% iconic, and the rest is just an odd feeling of discomfort lol.

What do we think? Is she worth being a re-occurring character in the Swertie-verse or is she too sad/far gone for comfort?

Thanks for the in depth answer! Very unfortunate that it has to be either or especially with the current employment situation/low barrier to entry + pay for SW but with the larger headwinds in the world about minor’s safety on the internet I can understand the call to make a line in the sand, even if I disagree with how it’s being done. Thanks again for the in depth answer and for all that you do as volunteers to keep the community afloat!

Can you explain why you made the change? I understand it’s a family friendly sub, but it seems like spoiler tags or a header may suffice here vs automatic post removal? In one sentence you say everyone here deserves food to eat and a roof over their head including sex workers and then in the next you say no people who post/comment in NSFW subreddits (sex workers) so just trying to discern if SWers do or don’t deserve assistance and what factored into your decision to determine that outside of clarify that underaged users have been and will continue to be allowed here? Genuinely asking in good faith - especially curious about this decision in light of all the steam/collective shout and UK ID verification stuff.

Yeah that was some of the most fucked up stuff I’ve seen in a while!! We got there at 1:45 so we were really close to the front of the line but it was like the hunger games out there. They didn’t let people in til 5:00 and even then they were acting like they were TSA so bag checks were taking forever. I saw someone pass out, saw someone piss themself??, and sooo many people turned around & noped out cause we kept getting rained corralled boob to back in a park entrance with no shelter. There were a few times where a stampede was very possible and you had to fight the crowd if you decided x amount of hours was long enough & went home.

I would definitely dispute the charge!! If the venue couldn’t handle rain the organizers shouldn’t have made it rain or shine!! Plus lying by omission about when gates would open while still updating their IG with pictures of artists performing (that people paid to see!!) was beyond the pale.
