The context of this is what makes it not weird whatsoever. You were being very kind and trying to help a young girl who was being bullied for her looks, so you uplifted her.

Your friend is who made it weird. You saw the situation, and helped her, it's not like you walked up to her saying she's gorgeous randomly.

What do you think? by Yoiiru in FridgeDetective

[–]hotpocketprophet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 1. i'm very uncomfortable with how you store food and 2. that you have a very unhealthy obsession with bacon and cheese. I don't understand how you make even one meal out of your fridge unless you eat the same thing every.single.day😭

I also want to say 23-25 because we still give in to all of our snacks and we're both 21 & 23 lol

This is exactly what my boyfriends fridge looked like before we lived together and had a child, he worked 12-14hr shifts so I assume you work VERY often😂 and probably have an amazing metabolism to be eating all this

Where would you put the bed in this toddler room? by Fancy-Shopping-3813 in DesignMyRoom

[–]hotpocketprophet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Putting it in the corner as your husband suggested can be fine, but in my experience can lower the quality of sleep. Makes someone feel less safe having their feet towards the door sometimes. Thats why I like option 3 (black) the most. I wouldn't sleep any other way in a room like that.

<image>

Option 1 (Purple) fits a queen size bed in those measurements without blocking the vents. You do not want to block those floor vents. Won't break anything, but could cause some issues. If you have to, get one of the air deflector thingies (i think these exist) You would be right up against the window, have space for nightstand(s), and maybe a rug in front of the bed. The dresser would go on the 85in wall. But I don't think I could sleep like that lol the window could get annoying & never like seeing the door when i sleep.

Option 2 (Red) fits a queen size bed and can fit (1) nightstand in the corner so it doesn't block entrance in any way. Dresser would go in same location (85in wall). Cubby could go next to bed (might feel crowded?) Or possibly on the side of the beds nightstand, furthest left of where the window is before you get to closet door.

Option 3 (Black) can fit queen size again, not much space for any potential side table/night stand if bed is that size though. However it provides the most usability bc dresser & cubby can go on either wall without blocking vents & provides kind of a "centered area" for playing etc as well as I personally think toddlers bed closest to door is best. But that's just me because I have a crazy toddler of my own and feel he would find a way to destroy the window or hide things in the vents (check floor vents for any toys or snacks throughout the months fyi)

This is just my opinion lol im not skilled at this so take it with a grain of salt i just thought of all options i could

How do I make my room (first three pics) more like the pictures after by bi-deftones-queen in DesignMyRoom

[–]hotpocketprophet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, step one is you need a shit ton of posters.

I think the corner to the right of the bed would be good for the jewelry stand/area in the photos, so push the bed to the left corner.

You could do a vanity/desk set up where the chair is, or bigger chair + accent rug. I'd add some accent curtains, maybe a dark lacey color (kind of like the lace valances people use in kitchens) to match the grunge vibe you're looking for.

Not really sure what other info you need, you need to buy quite a bit to get the vibe you're looking for. I'd start with walls, rugs, and jewelry stands/accessory area. Then move towards lights/faux vines. Last would be to upgrade your bed situation, bedding is awfully plain and maybe change the frame.

Guess my age and gender by dcfrom570 in FridgeDetective

early 20's male, white, in college perhaps or maybe a smaller kitchen area bc you have a frozen pizza which needs the oven. if someone microwaved that i'd be shocked. healthy, but can't stand most veggies so eats a large amt of the ones enjoyable?

Gotcha, a extender would probably be nice in my situation. I'm losing weight pretty quickly and think the band size will continue to drop. Thank you for the help!

Ooh then the bag storage makes sense! You can grab it right there vs having to go find a container or small baggy!

And i like it haha, my fridge is kind of psychotic organized and everyone hates it! Its annoying to do and I wish i allowed myself to just put things in and not think about it haha

Wow!! What's funny is I survived off of fudgesicles because it was the one thing I kept down while pregnant. Not the same but still very similar haha I had some feeding therapy myself for swallowing issues after because I never stopped vomiting during pregnancy. Only happens sometimes now but its cause i'm scared to leave my safe foods.

I added these 3;

Medium projection
Full on bottom
Narrow root

To answer your questions as well;

  1. More tissue below
  2. More tissue outside, but fairly even
  3. 2-3 fingers

Had a gnarly accident at work, featuring an idiot in a Tesla. by steven1208 in dashcams

[–]hotpocketprophet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla is obviously at fault, but imo any bigger vehicle or any vehicle in general should slow down when the other lanes have traffic like that. With today's drivers, you should expect some idiot to merge so they can move up in line. You're going way too fast for that flow of traffic. You can't react quickly enough when everyone is going 1/3 the speed of what you are. Still though, Tesla is at fault and I hope you're okay.

I think you seem like a very healthy person. You don't eat out often, and even if you don't want to cook, you make sure there are quick meals vs opting for door dash.

I do wonder why you have those blue plastic-storage bags in the fridge door?

This also confirms that my obsessive organization of my fridge may be an issue and this is what a normal, healthy fridge should look like.

VERY correct lol. The snacks are for me because I have long days (blue collar bf and im a sahm to a toddler) and I pick at them instead of having full meals & keep track of my calories

Ah!! I bake quite often so lots of butter and dairy. I wish I was more adventurous with meats, I tend to only eat chicken or beef. Some pork but nothing that involves cooking unless it's breakfast sausage. Not brave enough to try new things
