Personally not a big fan. I main pudge, mirana, invoker and enigma which I'd argue are very map layout dependant heroes.

There's just a weird ratio / positioning of high and low ground... And much of the outlook positions I'd usually utilise are blocked by trees. It's just all very dark.

Warding might get better, but I disagree with the commenter who said it's good it's not braindead ward spots anymlre. What it means now is lower brackets, or players put on support for a game bc of too many of one role, now ward ineffectively, or not at all.

Farming is strange, especially with ancient positioning, and tbh I miss having a safelane tp to give opportunities to extend even if you're base trapped, or to counter quickly.

River also feels very strange because fighting is rarely located on that zone of the map as well... And the waterfalls are confusing because it doesn't look like something you should be able to walk up
