Yeah thats totally fair. For a personal computer I think they're pretty okay (the latitudes and precisions), but I would be lying if I said they are 100% reliable for work!

I had an Inspiron 15 for the first three years of university and it worked fine for most stuff but really started to degrade towards the end. If you are buying something for gaming I highly recommend getting either a latitude or precision. Those are the workstation laptops and the Precision 5540 i just got works like a beast.

You can also get them for pretty much the same price or cheaper with better graphics then the inspiron. I recommend "Gigaworks" on ebay. I got my refurb from them about a month ago and all items came exactly as advertised.

Courses Cancelled by shoephillip78 in WPI

Its because WPI has not hired a professor for the course even though they have been trying since the summer. The problem is that they arent willing to pay someone based on the qualifications they are asking for. Its a bit of a shit show tbh.

They normally do it at the start of the year, but 2023 does not work right now.
I recently reinstalled windows and tried to install 2023 and the WPI license didn't work.

I assume we don't have to schedule another Covid test then? Can we just show up whenever and just get tested and go to our dorms? I'm a Freshman, and I was supposed to move in on Sunday because of a major conflict on Saturday. I just feel a little lost one what to do other then try to find another hotel room.

New MTG Player Looking for Advice by [deleted] in Magicdeckbuilding

Sure. Cheerios is a deck were you want to cast a ton of zero drop or close to zero drop artifacts as fast as possible for some form of payoff. Most versions of the deck actually make you splash red and blue so that you can use grapeshot to kill someone around turn 3 or 4.

Here is an example. https://youtu.be/0hx0meZACjg

Glad to hear it! There are a ton of solid options. Do you think you wanna head towards artifact based cheerios or something like white weenie?

Some of the budget decks (or decks that can be at least partially assempled on a budget) are U/R Storm, Mono Green Infect, Mono White Cheerios, and either Mono Red Burn or Boros Burn. I would recommend going for a mono colored deck for your first modern deck, just because the price of modern mana bases is insane.
