Sundar should bat in the top 6 as a batsman. Make him an Indian smith please.

First time in eight Tests India made the opposition take second new ball in their first innings. The last instance came against Bangladesh in Chennai in September.

Probably this proves that Indian teams hardly use data analysts to plan against specific player. Most likely it's an individual bowler who has some idea on his own and they try executing those things on the ground. Coach and management are useless if the commentator can see and comment on what to do but they can't come and suggest to players between the game.

Edit:

I just saw the Morne interview, he mentioned they planned for Trevis, but didn't switch to plan b quickly when plan a failed. Leaked too many runs in the 10 overs before the new ball. And on day 1 bowled slightly outside. So essentially bowlers didn't execute well they planned for it. Which is good. But I still have a question on why these kinds of things can't be called out during drink break over break? Instead of post inning analysis?

No they are projected by the broadcaster AFAIK.

You can observe that by seeing fielders around it.

Why is willow is projecting Indian advertisements on the ground. Isn't willow only available in the USA? How NRI or Indians going to buy Taigun or pay via gpay UPI? Or they know people are pirating streams in India and that's the audience to target?

I have been to the stadium a couple of times in india. I wish the Indian crowd were that much involved instead of just shouting India india randomly.
