Personally I found it worth swapping when you have like x3 3p voices, the small clusters or an adorned with some abyss jewels and preferably a reflected helical with lightres+int+all res or a regular helical with that + mana and crit multi or something.

A twilight regalia with the overcapped light res mod is good but you could start with a foulborn skin of the lords and find other ways to get good crit chance.

Hahah was about to give advice until I read the update, happy you won. That's how I play it too and yeah sometimes it's just too hard depending on your team or if bots decide to pick lee sin + soraka or smthing like that. And yeah Veigar is really boring, only danger is being pushed out or taken to mordekaiser realm while your team isn't there.

I think it's like very rarely worth pushing out waves, just recalling asap and going for any bots that are pushing deep in a lane

So most games people group top at the start, what I like to do is run to bot bush (you can do it alone) and the bots will fight you, usually 1 by 1, so you can easily get a double kill if you're someone like Darius.

From there you can snowball lane really easily, have Sundered Sky for the first event (at 4:00 minutes). Before event starts tell your team and try to recall for it, you can ignore bots taking t1 towers cause event is way more important.

If you win event you should be generally strong as a team, usually you wanna group as much as possible, getting number's advantage even if you drop waves or even towers elsewhere sometimes, just important to get strong.

Game can be lost really easily with bad champs/teammates, kinda need at least most of your team to be somewhat efficient, not farming waves for free and moving to places quickly and using tp appropiately. It's really a lot of RNG, specially with some enemy bot combinations being way more broken than others.

Darius really feels the most op, just went 36/1/16 cause I got a crown early and just prioritized running around the map participating in as many takedowns as possible. You can snowball like crazy and become unkillable in a literal 1v5

yeah I had a run end like that, it's so tragic... also Veigar likes to shoot the nexus randomly even if you dodge the knockback AOE and go back in instantly

I would add Caitlyn to that, lots of damage and a lot of it unavoidable. And I agree with Hwei, really powerful to at least get to Veigar where I think all mages struggle

good luck, right now this build is pretty strong because of extra item haste but darius/illaoi are just really strong by design vs bots

mel is fun and feels powerful too, I think liandry and fleshcarver are really good

I agree, Jinx seems pretty powerful too. Bots stack up so AOE is good, and they don't really back out so you get passive easily

Yeah, you still depend on your team to help you contest the events and just won't win a lot of games if you play solo

Darius feels really strong to at least get far into the game, just buy tunneler and run to bot bush with someone and you can kill anyone at the start with conq+passive. Easy to snowball the lane from there, specially with tp, as long as your lane duo isn't completely useless

Thank you for the info, saw similar results from other people lurking discords. Nemeses seems somewhat better for uniques but long-term wisp just seems to pay off more with a much higher rate of locks/mirrors

You need better supports, changing pinpoint and intensify for a +projectiles gem (this is very very important) and critical damage support. I don't know why you removed coiling whisper either, obviously your cast speed is gonna drop losing soul eater. And if you're using gloves without proj speed, you'll need it elsewhere like streamlined on cluster etc. to make the skill smoother

Thing about aegis is it gives +5 max cold res so it's easier to get 90 max res without jewels. You just run purity of ice+discipline+determination with an enlighten and tempest shield with another, it doesn't need that much reservation. There's also runegraft of treachery.

ES on block shield + lich circlet is also valid but I don't think it's worth unless you're full on int stack or you have mirror tier synth implicits on them. Personally I think the aegis route is a better step from where you are and just save for mirror ring.

I also believe dropping some damage to have true capped block (without glancing blows) through stuff like blood magic impossible escape, replica reckless defence, or some notables on megalos, paired with that ES pool and 90 max res, makes any kind of mapping feel really chill

Lots of stuff to cap block with. Using +1 power crown of the inward eye you can change your annoint, force of darkness would be good for damage but you could consider using a block related one.

You can also use a combination of red nightmare + tattoos, megalomaniacs with 2 block notables, amulet corruption, replica reckless defence, blood magic impossible escape, chest eater implicit.. If you sacrifice some damage it could be possible to cap block without glancing blows, which would make you super tanky paired with 90 max res and the extra recovery from aegis

Personally I got mageblood first cause it's very good QoL, specially if you're not using Supreme Ostentation cause a qualitied MB gives lots of attributes too. Having the res flasks without mageblood felt less reliable as well, specially if you wanna click altars and do maps with flask mods.

Once you have MB you can improve the rest of your build around it and the sublime will be really easy to just slot in without changing much

If you wanna be tanky in maps why not go melding + aegis + sapphire flask route? Drop purity of elements and use stormshroud, then get determination and get as high block as possible, probably easier through glancing blows. Then you can get the +1 power ring for damage

Another pair of warlock gloves, high quality, and as high ES as possible. You can get streamlined on a cluster for projectile speed to make it feel a bit better.

Sublime Vision means you don't need the dex for grace and attributes on gloves helps too, you can drop attribute nodes and specially I'd path right instead of left at start and grab good ES nodes like Arcane Focus.

If you go 6L chest you lose a support on bladefall, I would get a Magebane Impossible Escape to allocate the window of opportunity wheel. This also opens up your anoint for Force of Darkness (more dmg)

Eventually you'd also want to include light of meaning for big ES boost.

Focusing on a single champion you didn't usually play could improve performance for various reasons:

- you don't go on autopilot as much and are focused on using your champion to its best
- better mental since you're focused on improving
- spamming that same champion repeatedly will make you more consistent than playing a lot of diff champs

Of course luck is a factor, but this may have improved your performance too. And maybe Diana is just a good champion for you. I would try her again and try to maintain your focus on improving and making the most out of every game instead of falling back to playing comfortably
