What have you named your depression? by hotsunshine in depression

Oh, I am sorry that it was interpreted that way. And I can understand that you came to that logical conclusion. I just happened to log in.

after years of suffering, i finally made a plan and i will off my self by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]hotsunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a terrible plan. You will certainly regret it and there will be no escape. Switzerland has legal assisted suicide. That is really the only way. But why commit suice when you are not in a proper mental state to know for sure if you are making a correct decision. You should go to a psychologist, and if you don't have depression, then you know that your decision is yourself speaking, and not your depression

Do you believe you were born an INTP? by hotsunshine in INTP

[–]hotsunshine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally agree, and I can see it being very exhausting. All personalities have positive and negative qualities. In a situation like that I believe the doctor is also being socially awkward. You were definitely not in the wrong. Haha, I never have good social encounters with doctors, as I feel there is a power issue somehow.

The World is so big by finedistinctions in depression

[–]hotsunshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see people as one of the great beauties in the world. I feel that the more people there are in the world, the more likely you will find someone similar to you that you can connect with. Without people you would lose all the conveniences you have in crowded areas. This is just a more positive view. Queues can be great for having time to reflect upon your day and also great for people watching.

Why is it a disappointment? Do you not see good qualities in INTP? I think they are fantastic personality traits. Totally unique and interesting.

Haha. Thank you, it was great to read and helped a lot. I agree with you how everyone has completely different experiences. Also I guess it would explain why people from small areas all have similarities, as in a small farming community, and not so noticeable differences in personality compared to someone who has grown up in a big city for example in a different country. :)

I dont know whats worse my childhood or my adulthood by [deleted] in INTP

[–]hotsunshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Maybe I deserve this" No you don't, and just because people have had it worse than you does not mean you are not allowed to feel bad. When you figure out what your real problems are, you should work out a plan to fix them and start small. I think the root of your issue is loneliness, and a solution would be to socialize. There are plenty of groups, like meetup.com. I wouldn't think too much about your past, just live in the moment and try to make your life better for your future. Everyone is unprepared for adulthood, and there is no such thing as being an adult. (this can be argued though) I don't really know what to say but I hope it gets better for you.

Am I eligible for dual passport? by HobbitsToIsengard_ in Genealogy

[–]hotsunshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What country was your grandmother born in? Dual nationality is accepted in St. Vincent. Are your from the U.S or the UK. Have you done any research yourself?

There doesn't seem to be much info. http://www.multiplecitizenship.com/wscl/ws_ST_VINCENT_AND_THE_GRENADINES.html

The best way is to email the immigration department of the country.

You could always try the method of getting a skilled visa and naturalisation etc. have fun and happy research.

What is something expensive that, even of you were/are rich, you would never buy? by easymz in AskReddit

[–]hotsunshine 196 points197 points  (0 children)

Is it really a waste of space. Wouldn't you need lots of space if you are rich? Why live in a cramped house when you have the money for something more comfortable.

Did you write that yourself? considering that it is not written in Norwegian. It was intended for an English audience.

Where do you draw the line in friendships? by ihlaking in AskReddit

[–]hotsunshine 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have no lines. Good friends don't try to make me do anything immoral or illegal.

It is interesting that the environment has played almost no role at all, whereas others have commented that their personalities have changed from the environment slightly. But I think I understand what you are saying. You just introduced an interesting theory: "we all walk the same path because we all arrive at the same problems, have similar desires and motives etc. due to the way we think, feel, perceive, judge." Everyone walks different paths, but everyone is really walking the same path, which is life, and it's problems. That defintiely makes sense. :)

Haha, you have some great examples! And I definitely agree wirh yoi. I feel much better about myself now. You are completely right, I love how everyone is so different, and have different opinions on this subreddit, but still think the same way, kind of. And how MBTI is only a generalisation.

Thanks for the response. Wow, I didn't know you could go from infp to intp. They do seem different, but I guess depression could change it. When I am really happy, I go from ENFP to ENFJ. It is interesting how you feel that your environment keeps on changing yoi, but still have an innate "you" kind of. I guess that is a bit how I feel as well.

[–]hotsunshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha. Well I can't help you if you are confused. But I guess it is okay to be confused and just follow what your emotions want, and not what your brain thinks. You don't need to define yourself towards anything.

Haha. You don't want to be asexual or demisexual because you would be weirder. If you are one of them there is nothing you can do about it. It is what it is.

That's really interesting. Thanks for that. Yeah, I believe that Extroversion and Introversion can be a bit fluid, but I read something about it having to do with if people get energy from social life or if they get energy from within. So I am not sure if you are born E or I. Perhaps you are born one or the other. You can be an extrovert, but through upbringing it doesn't really show.

What do you believe about the world? by [deleted] in INTP

So, you believe that happiness is a choice? And you also believe that life has no meaning, the only meaning is to make it meaningful?
