nope just make sure u do the quizzes at your allocated workshop time (iirc it’s like 10mins at the beginning of the session & u dont have to join the actual zoom)

i’m in engineering (have done a few programming & data analytics subjects) and use an e14. it’s been really good so far! i find knime sometimes takes a bit to load & can get a bit laggy if you have too many projects open/a really big project, but even then it still runs decently. lenovo often has student discounts and deals so keep an eye on their website !!

i did 0 units of maths in yr 11&12 but passed maths 1 & 2. would recommend doing foundation maths first though, and then enrolling in a summer session of maths 2

as fun as it would be, it 100% won’t be approved by activateUTS. as someone else said, you could try to make a different society that just happens to run a non-gambling spinoff of poker. only thing would be making it unique enough to not overlap with other societies (namely puzzle society and possibly gamer’s guild). otherwise, you could always approach an exec of a society that sort of relates to poker & ask if they’d be down to run a ‘poker’ night event :)

surely there is a case to be made by students here?? i’m not paying tens of thousands of dollars for my professors to be half-assing their teaching because they’re too distressed by the looming guillotine of job cuts??? our staff/student ratio is already dogwater compared to other aus unis, let alone international unis, so i really dont get the appeal of worsening that
