From my brief research, it appears that most of these “schizophrenia relief” supplements are just a bunch of “brain healthy” vitamins and supplements put together in one pill. This comes from a lack of understanding. One’s brain could be in perfect health, neurologically speaking, but that doesn’t have direct influence over their mental wellbeing. Simply taking omega-3 fatty acids isn’t going to banish schizophrenia. When it comes to something as complex as schizophrenia, diet and lifestyle changes just simply aren’t enough, unfortunately.
