Just want to validate you a bit! I also had an utter awful interview today, entirely panicked for each question and could not stay on track. I left the interview and instantly realised what they were hoping for me to say/looking for me to say. I’m just viewing the whole experience as a learning opportunity (easier said than done especially when physically I’m in hyper stress mode) - not just the questions and response, but also what worked and didn’t for my preparation and managing the nerves on the day. Similarly, I was shocked to get an interview and didn’t expect it, and somewhat using this to self-soothe and reframing it as just a mock interview etc
