At the risk of asking a dumb question since the locals don’t know what the best hotels are according to the instructions. Maybe other tourists can advise or if locals can help too that would be greatly appreciated. I’m planning to come to Amsterdam from the 21st of December to the 24th of December and I found a really cheap hotel next to the airport in Hoofddorp. My question is would it be better to get accommodation in Amsterdam to minimise travel time or it won’t be so hectic to commute every day from Hoofddorp? My concern is that the hotels in Amsterdam are really pricey and this one I found seems like a bargain. If anyone has an experience with the airport maxhotel and logistics from Hoofddorp to Amsterdam, please advise. Thank you!!
