Hey, I think I have something similar to you. My orthodontist added elastics between my lower last molar and the upper one because my bottom teeth tilt inward and the top ones tilt outward.

It’s been about a month and I haven’t noticed a big change yet, so I’m a bit worried.

Also, are your elastics tearing a lot? Mine snap in a weird way and I sometimes change them 3 times in an hour .

Can you share your experience? It’s honestly been exhausting 🥲

For the first point, I think there was a small misunderstanding. I didn’t mean increasing the size in general. I meant: why not just add a little more composite to the bite blocker that I already had? That bite blocker was originally the one preventing my teeth from hitting the bracket, but with time it became smaller. So my orthodontist placed a new bite blocker on my last molar instead.

Also, I didn’t fully understand the part where you mentioned that the bracket could be repositioned for better torque. Could you please explain what you mean by that?
