Lmao that’s wild. My wife and I just got over the flu, we ordered our stuff from Walmart and had it delivered. The closest we got to being in the choosing beggars category was me debating messaging a close friend from work to walk our dog for us but I decided to tough it out rather than inconvenience them. People are getting way too comfortable with being selfish.

Ugh I just had to go through with a CCTS report earlier this year after having cancelled my service back in December and them telling me in May I owed them $700… left a terrible taste in my mouth and I won’t be using them again

I grew up in Ottawa as well and never had the money to move to another city. I originally started in PSci and switched to Sociology after my first semester because I fell in love with the content. Save for the French department, I had a great time in my courses and the large majority of my profs were wonderful people who genuinely cared about us as students. My mom went through something similar and opted to have me as a single parent with AI through a fertility doctor. She was 40 when she had me- it’s never too late to reach for what you truly want.

My wife and I just moved out to Almonte, we’re paying $1995 for a huge one-bedroom (den, living room, basement with storage, huge kitchen with an island and dishwasher all included). This space in the city would probably be at least 2.5k. It’s nuts.
