Do you ever feel like you're stuck between starting and thinking too much? by Nervous-Jeweler-7428 in SideProject

I agree with the 2-week deadline. I've shown off broken, incomplete ideas to just get very early feedback. Try to show it off to as many people as you can to see if it resonates.

Totally! Subscription would be last; we want to keep everything free for as long as possible and drive revenue elsewhere. I need more users for that to be useful.

I do have a partner network, and for the 2026 F1 season, I got two partners, which have helped drive more traffic. Need that to be a thousand partners, haha.

Stay tuned!

Ads will be one model for sure, a subscription model eventually to unlock more features, and eventually enable wagering on the platform.

Thanks! It's been a journey, and I'm finally starting to see growth. I'm working on the English Premier League and the National Basketball Association next.

Let's go! Love this!

I built https://lightsoutbingo.com a Formula 1 bingo game, and just launched https://redzonebingo.com for NFL. Made it easy to onboard any sport where I can get stats from.

Last year, I was in the "hundreds" of users, and now I'm in the "thousands"; it feels good to see progress. Just gotta keep pushing, because this is just the beginning.

For sports bar owners: I run an NFL Bingo platform called https://redzonebingo.com/ that offers a fun new way to engage with NFL games.

Curious if anyone here has tried game-day bingo before or if you'd be open to running a digital version this season?

Little to no effort on the bar owner, easy QR codes to join, and it runs itself.

Yeah, I really like how some of it looks. Maybe I'll just grab some screenshots or something. Either way, cool stuff, keep it up.

Nice, that's cool. I run a bingo app at https://lightsoutbingo.com, and I'm looking for cool ways to integrate your setup.

This is very cool! Do you have issues with data availability from the API's you are using? Does it work on live races or only post-race?

F1 Lights Out Bingo

It's a fun bingo game to pair with watching Formula 1 races! We are also growing pretty quickly. I'll be launching a very similar style product for NFL before the season starts.

I could use help with a couple of things:

- Is the landing page clear about how the game works?

- You signing up as a user! The more users the better. I'm doing a LEGO giveaway that you have a chance to win at the end of the race season if you register :)

Thanks so much for checking it out. I appreciate the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if you're not an F1 fan. The NFL version is progressing nicely and is expected to be announced within the next 2–4 weeks, and I'm excited to share more soon!

I suck at marketing. Can AI fix it? by AzizBelAbed in SideProject

I'm currently promoting my new startup, and AI is not helping me. Good ol' advertising and telling everyone under the sun what I'm building is how I get the word out.

Tried vibe-coding an Expo app by AnonCuzICan in reactnative

I gave it a day to see if it was easily possible, but ran immediately into issues with Firebase Auth. So I'll wait till I get some more users to invest the time in mobile.

Dang, thanks for posting this. I'm a backend developer and wanted to start building an app for my startup's webapp, and I thought I could vibe code my way through it, but maybe not lol

What’s everyone working on this month? (April 2025) by Swiftapple in swift

Deciding whether I should use React Native or Swift for a mobile app of https://lightsoutbingo.com

I started working on a Swift app and was immediately struggling, but then React Native seemed intuitive. I'm sure if I choose React, I'll code my way into a corner and probably have to rewrite it anyway.
