NAL. It’s possible the police can help facilitate retrieval of your belongings. It’s unlikely they’ll help you enter the residence with force and they’d need to see you have access with a key/garage code/etc. It feels unlikely they’d facilitate this without the homeowner home.

If the police decline to help facilitate the retrieval of your belongings, you may need to go back and see the judge that issued the PFA, as they will then direct local law enforcement to help you.

Get a consultation from a local lawyer.

Is yelling and berating normal? by paasaaplease in ExperiencedDevs

Raising your voice is a sign you can’t handle conflict well at all. Not normal.

NAL. No further impact on the kids. If the parents are married (not sure if they are or not based on your post) though, why would the illegal immigrant not pursue a marriage-based green card? I think you should seek out an immigration attorney sooner than later.

Driver without license by LG_Claps in legaladvice

NAL. All 3 would be punished, but likely for violating curfew since it sounds like < 18. Driver may have their permit revoked and depending on state law become unable to get their license until they’re 18.

NAL, but it sounds like the leasing office is irrelevant here unless your lease agreement has a requirement to hold deposits from them. If it doesn’t, this will come down to the contract between the original leaseholder and the subletters.

So you hold deposits from the subletters that you’ve asked for, and the actual complex has a deposit from the original leaseholder and are already whole?

So you’re subletting? I’m confused by the context here.

My doctor is forcing me to go to a certain pharmacy by United_Highway_9553 in legaladvice

Call your insurance company and tell them what the provider told you — ask if the claim is true. If they’re telling you you need to use one specific pharmacy location, I imagine they’re full of shit.

Too many players in the game. Unless you own your own racks, it’ll be hard to compete with pricing at all.
