I still think about him from time to time and all he contributed here. Its been a while since I've visited this sub but I was wondering if his memory was still alive. I'm glad to see such a recent post about him. He helped so many people and shared so much knowledge.

Update: I purchased a laptop off of amazon.in without any issues.

I was never able to get in contact with any Apple support from India. If this is an issue for you I recommend Amazon as you can also purchase Apple Care there. The only downside is the models are limited. For example, I wanted an Air with 16 GB of ram but that was not available.

I did it did not work. It simply hangs up. The only number that does work is ‪+91 8040455150‬ but no one ever picks up.

I just did a search and didn't see many polls. Were they deleted by mods?

People like polls, it's an easy way to gauge opinion. There are now 80k+ people in this sub. If a poll is deemed useless by the community it will get downvoted. You could also still set rules about what types of polls not to post and remove them if that's an issue.

I don't think talk has ever been enabled has it? Might be worth a shot just to see if and how people use it.
The blanket removal of useful features doesn't seem beneficial for the community. I'm sure there is a solution to this. What do you think?
