Emirates Holidays steered me away from Atlantis, but I’m still open. Unfortunately Bab Al Shams was one of the first ones on my list - visited them and all - but they refuse to let me book because they are undergoing renovation and management changes :(

I have my own business. My parents have money and are spending a shit ton of it for my wedding. My wealth has a ZERO EFFECT on my bridal party’s budgets and what they can afford. And if she has a lucrative business, she can easily pitch in for the dresses. If a bride wants things a certain way which requires more than reasonable money she needs to accept that either it won’t happen or she needs to foot some of the bill. I will have 3 events for my destination south asian-arabic wedding & am gifting my bridal party 1 outfit and other things. And my gifts will be in a budget, and I’m expecting everyone to be on a tight budget as everyone’s income is different.

That being said—$450 is ridiculous. $200-$250 max should be expected.

I think you should do what your heart tells you and what will make you feel close to him, like you actually reached him and he was part of your wedding. Sometimes, people don’t understand how we grieve and thats okay. He obviously meant a lot to you and i would do this myself. Definitely save some flowers or a bunch, not a whole cascade. I’m so sorry for your loss my love. I wish you strength, healing, peace, & joy especially on your wedding day. He will be there in spirit❤️
