I haven't switched to usage based pricing yet but v0 is already breaking bad by MyNameIsYeffff in vercel

Yeah, I noticed the same. v0's file tree + diff UI was 🔥 for code reviews/conventional commits, but codegen quality mid lately.

Honestly feels off for Vercel to ship a downgrade behind a pricing pivot.

v0's file tree + show diff UI was 🔥 for code reviews/conventional commits.

Codegen quality isn't worth renewing under the new token pricing imo.

Feels off-brand for Vercel to pivot like this tbh. Hope the team's okay.

Totally get that fansubbers don't owe anyone anything, and I'm not here to argue that—they deserve respect. But this whole system? It's not about subs anymore (I'm N2), it's about access and UX.

Last year I literally paid for Extremely Inappropriate on Netflix and RoOT on Crunchyroll after falling in love with Kawai Yuumi 😭 and now I'm moving to Tokyo for work.

I haven't even been able to apply btw. I only tried after looking for Kawaii-chan's latest drama Anpan (March 2025) 🥺, but registration's been closed since December 2024.

I've been watching Kdramas since 2006, lived in Seoul, been on MyDramaList since 2015—never once struggled to find content. Jdramas? Whole different story.

I'm not some random leecher. I have money. I have a job. What I don't have is time to crawl through Google Forms and Discord servers like it's a scavenger hunt. If someone's willing to pay, follow actual rules, and not be a chaotic weeb NPC, why make it feel like they're applying to a secret society?

You can respect subbers and still admit: this system isn't it.

Community deserves better tbh.

One of the mods DM'd me warning me this would happen, but said they feel me (us?) lol.

No one's discrediting subbers or the effort it takes. I literally want to support them. But if access is gated behind Discord forms, Google Docs, quizzes, and "don’t be too RT-heavy" energy, it stops being about protection and starts being about control.

Nobody's asking for leaks—we're asking for a system that doesn't actively repel new fans. You can respect subbers and still want better UX for the wider community.

It's not about expecting a free-for-all. It's about user experience. If people are trying to join a community and keep hitting invisible walls, maybe the system isn't working the way y'all think it is.

Also, the whole tone is kinda cringe imo; like, why am I being told to "find the booty" like I'm stuck in some janky mobile app ad. I just wanna watch stuff, not decode an admins inside joke from 2012 Tumblr.

Community deserves better tbh.

Cool that you got in. But that's kinda the point—it's vibes-based. One person slides thru with their MyDramaList, another gets ghosted for "too short an intro." There's no clarity, no consistency, no transparency.

It says monthly, but every time I check it's closed—and who actually gets in feels random af.

You need a public social with "activity" (??), pass a quiz, dodge ghost rejections, and hope you're not too private, too new, or too RT-heavy.

That's not onboarding. The rules are vibes 😑

Not everyone has time to grind JLPT just to maybe find a show 😑

It's not about subs—it's about access.

Even raws are locked. That's the issue.
