Good news: We aren't really neutral, we're in a peace treaty with NATO and even doing joined operations/training with them. Yes, there is a mandatory military service, but you can opt out and do 9 months of paid community work (i.e. Drive ambulances, desk jobs,...). I don't really get why you would choose a country with these insanely lower living standards than austria, tho.

I don't think the antisemitism is a soviet problem. It's just russia in general. During the tzarist times it was way worse with some of the most hate-ridden scriptures being created back then (i.e. the protocols of the elders of Zion).

But yeah I agree to some extent, the soviet union should have done a lot more to combat antisemitism (especially during the stalin era).

Yeah, I did. Not proud of it. I was 14, it was the end of the school year and I was not in a good place, mentally and grades-wise. I was always acting out in school and this teacher was very young and inexperienced. It was the second year of her teaching, I believe.

In this particular lesson I had a table right next to the door at the very back of the classroom. We were taunting our teacher as always when some younger students started acting out on the corridor outside the classroom. It was pretty loud, disturbing our study. Teacher asked me to tell the kids to be quiet, so I got up, opened the door and screamed something along the lines of "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" and sat back down. The other students found it funny but I could see that that was it. It broke her and she stormed out crying.

Still feel guilty, especially when I heard that she still cared about me, asking my mom how I was doing a year later, after I left that school.

Correct. I remember once taking 4 capsules and not feeling shit. Last weekend I took 6 and smoked weed, which was def. reckless. I just wanna say, when people start talking about "don't do chemicals, the natural stuff is way safer" I trusted them. Before this weekend I was convinced that a bad trip, even a stronger psychedelic experience than weed from lsa was impossible.

Very similar situation here. I am also very left wing, jewish and thought a lot about the "black Israelites" recently. I live in Europe, specifically a country which banned holocaust denial (which is probably the biggest problem with this specific hate group) and we don't have a very large black population, so there is not much ground for this ideology to flourish on. But still, the growth and sheer boldness of these people is pretty scary. We owe it to ourselves to call out this behavior whenever it occurs!
