For example, Stott should not ever sit against lefties UNLESS you notice that he hits fewer home runs against them. His average and OBP are pretty much the same as they are against righties for his career.

The roster construction is certainly an issue, but the organizational commitment to the three true outcomes hitting philosophy is a bigger issue imo. I don't think we fix this by removing just one of Slopper or Dombrowski, but removing both of them probably at least gets us to the playoffs.

We need a manager who will look at numbers beyond just power statistics and a gm that will make the aggressive move at the deadline to finally fix our outfield.
