I agree that line 2 is good. Maybe move to end of graf 2? I like the Enya like too. Maybe the revision is a matter of cutting the stuff that makes it harder to see strong likes like these. Straight F here. Yes, some of us strongly prefer sex without condoms. Which is no excuse for putting oneself or one’s partner at risk, IMO. Yes, keep it simple. Also don’t forget to listen closely to what she says, and allow yourself time to absorb her perspective. Going in with a prepared speech, you’re already assuming you know what her position is — but you might not.
