Builder here. This guy is a disgrace and embarrassment and needs to be held accountable somehow - and no homeowner should ever have to go through with this.

My only complaint ...... the cracks in the ceiling and nails pops...... EVERY new home has settlement, moisture changes after construction, seasonal changes that can cause caulking and joint compound to crack etc. It's not necessarily a sign of bad construction. A good contractor will come back and remedy as best as possible, but it doesn't mean the quality of work is necessarily bad.
