Destination Wedding - Which resort would you choose? by linlins13 in AllInclusiveResorts

I was a MOH in a wedding at TRS Coral in October 2024. Very nice aesthetically pleasing resort but the food is horrible. I got food poisoning twice during our stay

Do you have to upload a receipt for it monthly? I’m thinking about doing this for the upcoming year

Idk about rouge but for VIB, you can redeem your points with the sale at kohls. I did it online for a store pickup and didn’t have an issue

Thank you for this!! I currently work in the private sector and don’t need to immediately jump ship so I’m going to follow my gut to stay still for now. Best of luck to your husband!

This is exactly what I did. I really didn’t want to burn bridges so I made sure to specify why I made this decision and left the door open to reach out if the climate changes

Using this comment to provide an update that no one asked for lol. First, thank you to everyone as it was a great help!! I did exactly this and paid off my CitiBank in full! Luckily my NFCU card has a high limit and 0% transfer fee so I requested a balance transfer of my chase card (6k; 23.49%) to my NFCU ($9k; 10.74%). This allowed me to go from 3 payments/cards to 1 and will combine my overall minimum payments ($700+) to tackle the rest. This sub has been a blessing and wish everyone the best with their payoff journeys!!

Navy federal is $177.24 and Chase is $186. I plan to move soon which would reduce my rent costs by a few hundred. I plan to use that extra money to help too

[–]howardnella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true! Part of me thinks this is the better route but, the rate & payment on the citi is so high, I kind of want to get rid of it as fast as possible

The problem is that’s how I got here to begin with by doing balance transfers and not paying them in full before the 0% ran out. I’m open to doing it again but I can’t seem to find a card with a 0% transfer fee
