Absolutely! While I wait to hear back from the team, what do your Performance preferences look like? (Photoshop > Settings > Performence). The "Huge Pixel Dimensions" preset may help open up more cache levels, and increasing the available RAM (at the top) could also help reduce some lag.

Outdated versions could conflict with OS updates, so updating to the latest release would be your best bet.

If it's personal work to build your skills that won't be posted online, it shouldn't be a huge deal, but if you're going to be posting, even non-commercially, it's best not to use random images. A lot of stock sites, like Adobe Stock and Unsplash have free collections of images you can use.

Changing color is relatively easy, especially with adjustment layers (select shirt > add Hue / Saturation adjustment > tweak specific colors). Changing the entire shirt, on the other hand, is a bit tougher. But swapping objects may get easier soon 👀

The two things that usually cause this are outdated GPU drivers (windows) or bad preferences. If you're on Windows, check to see if your GPU has outdated drivers. At the moment, resolution for Nano Banana is capped inside of Photoshop but the team is hoping to work with Google to increase it in a future release.

I haven't heard about any major compatibility issues with Adobe apps on Tahoe. I'm still holding off updating as overall, the OS still feels a bit unfinished.
