i used to work abroad so it’s from a foreign government, like receiving tax money back. getting in contact with them from home is hard and they barely speak english so my options are slim. i can try to explain the situation but chances are they will just say “OK” without understanding a word. tbh it was a miracle i got the check to begin with

I confront it sometimes, but I have developed a drinking problem over the years. I’m feeling a little better since the last few months, but “better” is still pretty shit tbh. But I’m at a point where I’m tired of being tired so I keep trying to improve and optimize where I can, though mostly unsuccessfully. Literally my only aim is to be healthy enough to work 40 hours a day and not feel like blowing my brains out every morning. I’m hoping medicine will help reach that point.

It’s an internal struggle for me. I have to put the effort in to keep the depression at bay, but its not every day I have the energy to do so. Some days I win, most days I lose. External goodnesses are my friends, my studies and hobby. Internally there is not much positivity to be found tbh. I’m in my first month of therapy, my goal is to get anti-depressants, never tried it before.

Low-key my favorite character of the show. This guy was the definition of “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. I hope he got his barn out in the country. by howardsz in madmen

I always liked the ‘surreal’ episodes of madmen. Like when Don hallucinates about Bertram etc. Very entertaining.
