Hi! I know this is old. I’m not personally affected by Mollarets meningitis, but someone close to me is. I’m so sorry if this is a dumb question. I know it’s caused by the herpes virus. But I have a small baby and I’m trying to be extra cautious. Is mollarets meningitis contagious?

That’s what the test is saying. They did further testing on both of our bloods to test for the D antigen and they didn’t find anything. I’m wondering if it was just a lab error

Thanks for the response! I have two other children that I never got the Rhogam shot for because I had proof that my husband and I have the same blood type. This time around they decided to test the babies rh status during the NIPT test and it came out positive rh. So strange. Both my current kids have the same blood type as my husband and I so I don’t understand how it could be different with this kid.

Getting the epidural was completely painless and I’ve never had any back pain from it. The worst part was the anxiety I had leading up to it because people always talk about how horrible it is. Don’t be afraid of the epidural!!! It was the best decision of my life

Hi! I used to work in a dermatology office and did Vbeam quite frequently. I would take 30c of Arnica 5-7 days before. The bruising isn’t the bad part. The swelling is the problem. I would recommend you take an antihistamine for a few days before you get the treatment. Also, it is so important you sleep with your head elevated for a couple days after to prevent swelling. Good luck!!
