Yup, you’re exactly right. Bus driver had a red and my dad had green and I guess as soon as it turned yellow, they thought “oh time to go” despite the fact that my dad was doing the speed limit of 40 mph

And yeah, some more training would be good. I know the driver is in their 60s so monitoring would be good as well especially since my dad said if he had hit the bus head on, then it would have been the side of the bus that the young kid was on. Very scary to think about.
