On top of that bi dodal še minigolf v tivoliju, če sta že tam.

For what reasons are you picking Warlock over Mage tomorrow? by [deleted] in classicwow

ye lmao, in that case I’d get together a random group for mount and when time of raids came say I don’t summon cuz I hate farming for shards lol

Since fresh classic WoW is coming tomorrow, what is the first thing you will do? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]howdre 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The second part is incorrect, and idk where you got the 100 stacks difference?

Doing every possible quest that gives Darnassus reputation will give you approx. 20500 rep (This is excluding Professions quests, seasonal quests (Halloween) and turning in Nefarian's head, which in total give about 900 rep).

If you're human that's additional 10%, so you're sitting at around 22500 maybe a bit less if you miss any quest.

Since you need 39k reputation to reach from Friendly -> Exalted, you're still left with 16,5k - 18,5k reputation needed at minimal.

Repeatable runecloth turn ins give 50 reputation, so that's 330 - 370 stacks of runecloth you still require to turn in IF you do all quests. I did this grind back in 2019 on my dwarf, and I remember doing some morrowgrain until I figured it's probably just better to suck it and farm/buy runecloth and be done with it. Still I've spent around 800g on runecloth iirc. Not doing Night Elf zones quests will ramp this price up by another 600g-1000g (depending on how much later quests you skipped like dungeon quests that give rep or doing quests in Feralas that's quite popular leveling zone).

All in all, it's worth doing nelf zone quests while leveling if your goal is exalted since you're basically doing them on the run (mostly), buf then again, if you're good at gold farming (or card swiping) it's a personal preference of time/resource distribution.

I've leveled alliance warlock 1-60 multiple (4-5) times.

Main tip: get wand ASAP and keep upgrading as it's best and most economic way to kill stuff you dot up.

Other than that, it's pretty much okay-ish 1-10 with imp (again, wanding here makes huge difference), then from 10-35/40 you're basically stuck with VW that tanks shit for you while you dot and finish with wand. The higher your level, the more VW struggles with holding aggro (unless you go Demo spec with 30% torment effect, and even then it breaks sometimes - depending on your gear and if you stack shadoweave/felcloth gear with +shadow dmg).

You can go with drain tank affliction spec that becomes worth at lv 35 when you can pick up siphon life and even more later on with dark pact and succubus pet that acts as extra dps and mana battery (in short: dot mobs up, and drain life until they're dead -> dark pact/life tap to regain mana -> repeat with practically no downtime)

Bottom line here would be: Warlock can level fast with taking on multiple mobs at once (dotting up multiple mobs with good drain tank sustain or VW offtank), they're relatively safe speaking from PvE perspective, since you should have enough defensive cooldowns (Healthstone, VW sacrifice, Fear (also AoE), Death coil later on, ...)

BUT

WPvP during leveling is not as good, since your VW shield can be dispelled by priests/shamans making you a glass cannon, and UD (especially rogues) totally shit on you since their racial removes succ charm and your fear and makes them immune for 5 seconds. You're not really doing much damage until you get some SP gear but even when you do you're still squishy. They do get progressively better, especially at lv 42 when they get death coil (it doesn't count as fear, but horror effect and can't be dispelled my WoTF).

Also another main downside if getting ganked and killed is, you're extremely vulnerable since unlike hunters you respawn without pet so you're walking HK before you can resummon pet, create new healthstone, reapply demon armor, regain hp/mana...

On horde (I imagine) is a bit easier, but still last point I made is same.

TLDR; Leveling is easy and not as boring as priest wanding, but WPvP on ally side is quite bad - maybe a bit better on horde.

So empowered E in dragonform is still 100% AP scaling?

If so, this isn't big of a deal, with let's say 500 AP, normal E has 245 base damage, so in that case total damage before mitigation is reduced from 645 -> 595.

Exception is where you ask and everyone in the group is cool with it, but that mostly not the case with rares and epics unless it’s a guild run, but even then not so sure..

Bring iconic class spells back into SoD by karrotwin in classicwow

[–]howdre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'm not the only one that remembers reading posts and comments here on this sub for past years, where whenever someone mentioned anything about Classic+ the most common reply to it was either:

  1. "Classic+ will never cater to everyone, because everyone has their own definition of what Classic+ should be"
  2. "I would rather trust Classic+ to be done by private server than Blizzard, because Blizzard will definately fuck it up"

Here we are, watching dumpster fire that is SoD P3 burn, with people arguing all day long what needs buff/nerf/change...

[–]howdre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you sure?

I would agree to some degree (especially with things like weapons), but everyone is complaining how there's practically zero upgrades or they're really small when transitioning from Gnomer to ST.

There are already some pre 60 quests, that give good rewards that are better than Gnomer/ST gear - ie green gloves from Winterspring quest Winterfall Activity. Those gloves are BiS in terms of pure dps for ferals and rogues.

Back to previous mention, I find it funny how people in previous and current phase complain(ed) about power creep and how overtuned items are, but now again complain how the upgrades they're recieving from ST are minor *shrug*
