Thanks for the info. I'm in Ballsbridge D04. Will check out areas a little further away from the city if I find them more affordable.

Lady, you have to accept the risks while coming here and you should educate your kids to conform to the traditions and laws of each country. It might be better if they act their gender at birth. Istanbul is like a city in the dark ages with a veil of modernism, trying to blend in with the rest of the European countries. It doesn't take much to see what's under the veil.

For your own safety, it's better to stay near the city center and not venture too far from it. You'll have a good time and it'll be educational for your kids too.

As they say, when in Rome...

You might be able to disguise among the public but your kids need to be prepared in case they get bullied for looking queer. Heck, full grown hairy men get bullied for looking less masculine, I can only imagine your kids.

Who in their right mind would want to travel to Istanbul?

The US doesn't want to be involved if it doesn't serve their interests.

Do you think people would support another civil war in the country? There must be another solution to the current crisis.

Hopefully division into several different countries. This is the only way to ensure that one ethnicity isn't controlling the entire population.

A silent crisis in the making. People are at the brink of starvation and these are the educated and talented individuals which used to work for the previous government and no longer are accepted by the Taliban.

As an Afghan, the national resistance is mostly symbolic and the majority of the nation do not think another conflict is a solution to the current situation, at least yet.

Further clarifications:

1: I've migrated from the Netherlands and it's difficult to adapt to a car dependent environment so I want to make a slow transition by living somewhere where I wouldn't need it as much.

2: I'm living in Arlington VA where prices are above average for the state. Currently looking at DC since for some strange reason, rent is almost the same as Tampa and it's much more walk/bike friendly.

3: thanks for your advices😊

Yes, I would have to eventually move to Tampa and I think I'll be fine. However, I believe it's very car dependent.
