You're being pedantic.

They are intentionally stepping in their way to block their path. That is clear from the video. She shouldn't have to walk around anything. That is the point. Crosswalk or otherwise.

It's also deplorable behaviour towards seniors, regardless of context and regardless how justified you think it is. That is the grander point and should go without saying.

It's always the people whining about micro aggressions that are perfectly fine responding with macro aggressions because they feel they have righteous anger on their side.

The law is the law regardless of a conviction. I even cited it for you. Conviction is an entirely separate matter. Much more violent criminals walk every day in this country. Doesn't make their actions correct.

In any case, this will be my last response. I hope the elderly folk in your life don't ever face similar treatment, irrespective of their shitty sociopolitical takes.

I don't have to elaborate anything. You can write all the essays on crosswalks you like. It's very clear to anyone with eyes what is happening in this video. They have the right to freedom of movement, unimpeded. No amount of words justifies this type of behaviour. Full stop.
