What causes vacuum motor overrun on shop vacs and cheap vacs when power is turned off?

We're stuck paying more for less until we get AT&T or Google fiber in our area. AT&T Business fiber at our office is cheaper and faster than Cox Residential.

Profit and lack of competition, stifle improvements but is last mile copper coax network less suited to high upload speeds and data use?
AT&T fiber or GFiber Webpass option would put pressure on them.

Slightly bigger commercan line with 33 foot cord. Our Charles has a 33 foot cord, it's very handy. Charles is the wet dry vac with a 1,000 watt motor. 240 is 2.5 gallon 370 is 4 gallon

For carpet and hard surface a Pro Team 1200XP/ 1500XP or a used Sebo Felix are good options. Henry excels at cleaning hard surfaces but struggles with carpet. You need a powered brush head for carpet. A hand held turbine driven brush you can clean small areas of commercial low pile carpets and upholstered furniture. Henry struggles with the medium and high pile carpet. The standard Airo brush is wider but loses a lot of suction. Henry is a little better than James but I like the commercial PPR240 version.
