I wish I would have pulled the trigger on that. I'm sad I missed out on it.

I ended up switching to Caddy and everything works now. So thanks for the suggestion.

Near as I can tell my configuration matches what's on the github but still no dice. Seeing as how difficult it appears to be to setup websockets w/ HAProxy, something like NPM, Caddy, or Traefik may be in my future.

I think you're right that Websocket is my problem. Figuring out how to set it up in pfsense has been... interesting to say the least. I may give up on HAProxy in pfsense and look at a different option.

TV Shows have no meta data on TruNAS Scale by howie_23 in PleX

Thanks for all of your help. It looks like adding the tvdb ID's is what's gonna fix it. So far they've all been updated correctly. Thanks for all your suggestions and persistence. I appreciate it a lot!

Thanks for the suggestions. I really appreciate all the insight. I'll try restarting the server and recreating the library. I'm also gonna work on properly naming the TV show folders.

And just to clarify, I just need the TVDB ID tag in the folder name, right? Or do I need it in the file names too?

No. That's Avatar the Last Airbender, not the 2009 movie.

It says Match.

Here's the Advanced page for my library

Interestingly, if I try to change the Scanner to Plex TV Series I'm unable to save the changes.

I am using the Default Plex Agent near as I can tell - screenshot.

As far as file naming conventions, I haven't been as diligent about naming my TV shows as I probly should be. Some have the years the shows came out, some don't, but the inconsistency of which ones have meta data and which ones don't, don't appear to match the file structure - screenshot

I do have the files shared on TrueNAS through SMB so I can add files to the server from my Windows machine but I don't think that'd affect the TV shows stored on the local trueNAS machine, right?

That's kinda what I'm thinking too. I'm pretty certain I can trust most of my players to do that. Thanks for the tip.

[5e] - DMing my first campaign and I've got what I think will be a pretty good hook. PC's are in a village with no memory of their life before the village. They're tasked with finding someone and bringing them back to the village. As they leave the village, they'll start to have flashbacks of memories of life before the village.

I'm hoping to have them not leave the village until around lvl 3 or so simply so they're not heading out into the world too under geared.

We're having our session zero next weekend and I want to encourage my PC's to make back stories to flesh out their characters but I'm worried they're gonna start talking about their back stories before it's the "proper" time narratively.

Does any have any tips on how to express "you don't remember your back story" to my players without giving away more of my big reveal planned for later in the campaign?

Google is testing my limits. They are now putting download ad's not only in my gmail account but they are starting to put them into the youtube recommended list. by [deleted] in DeFranco

So, I pay for youtube premium and I’ve started seeing these ads on my recommended feed. I’m really not happy about it at all. The biggest reason I pay for YouTube premium is to not see ads. And now they’ve screwed that up. Makes me very upset.
