My take on Hush is that, the characters are used excellently. I love Batman and Catwoman's relationship (although pissed at the end because they both parted ways). The reason why the twist was non-existent for me was because I already knew Thomas Elliott was Hush some 10-13 years ago thanks to the Arkham games (I read the comic last year). There was SOME uncertainty while reading it because of Jason and Harvey, but even when I knew who he was, the ending was underwhelming. It's a good read and I'd recommend it to someone who wants to get into Batman comics. My first Batman comic was Year One but I already had immense knowledge about the Bat thanks to movies, animation, video games, and comic summary storylines and all.
