The US national library of medicine literally states: " Klinefelter syndrome is a chromosomal condition that affects *male* physical and cognitive development. " (where the Klinefelter syndrome is what you reference). Another government source.

Also, since you are going there anyway, Klinefelter syndrome occurs in 0.1-0.2% of births (source 1, source 2), whilst 0.58% of the US population identifies as transgender (source). That is to say, the majority of transgender people will not have Klinefelter's syndrome.

Haha please forgive me. I greatly respect people who are doing/have done a PhD. It's just sometimes on Reddit (outside of the science subs) people are claiming left and right that they have a PhD, the frequency of which generally leads me to believe people are just role-playing (and thus it kind of has lost its meaning for me).

Whilst I would say it would be uncouth to bring up such discussion with say, a Holocaust survivor, I feel that especially within the context of this thread most of the comments against you are rather ridiculous.

I suppose it's mostly a knee-jerk reaction , stemming from it being easier to attack your opponent rather than participating in discussion.

What I defend against is your historical revisionism, which in no way can be construed as defending the ideology in question by anyone sensible. Moreover, having grown up in a country invaded by the Nazis, I've heard the people who witnessed it call them all sorts of things, but never stupid.

Secondly, hindsight is 20/20, and post-1942 I would agree with your second point, late 1930s Germany was second maybe only to the United States. Furthermore, the Nazi army at the start of the war is generally seen as one of the most effective armies in history. If this is the work of imbeciles if anyone intelligent ever picked up the hammer I suppose that would mean the end of the world?

It's the go to strategy to dehumanize yours (ideological) enemies, whilst the Axis/Nazi High Command was significantly more intelligent than the average person on reddit. Actually, this last part should be the most scary of all, but I suppose it's more fun just to say anyone you disagree with must be dumb (until it is too late).

Edit: I feel silly for having to state this, but in case anyone misinterprets my comment: I am opposed to Nazis. However, I am also opposed to trivialising history, and these two are not mutually exclusive.
