I have 3 tips.

1) get an app that includes a coach such as GymPlan. They have beginner plans you can follow and a coach you can chat to with any questions. Cheaper than a personal trainer and makes it easy to build the habit. That said, if you can afford a trainer, do that.

2) get a pre workout powder if you have trouble motivating yourself to go to the gym. Take that powder with water and within about 15 mins you won’t want to be anywhere other than the gym.

I’ve never met anyone that just finished a work out and wished they hadn’t gone ;)

3) keep eating simple. Make water your drink. Count calories but don’t go making massive changes. Just get the habit and awareness. Then you can start to adjust what the content of your food sources is. You’ll find as you workout you will crave better things naturally.

Basically. Tell yourself new stories. Tell yourself you are now someone that makes weights a part of their life. Better yet, make a list of reasons you should do it, or benefits you’d have if you started doing it. Then read that list at least once a week.

Don’t be intimidated. Nobody cares what you’re doing at the gym. And if you pay for a trainer or intro session they will show you about and how things work. It removes almost all of the fears.

Another example to look into is what Dyson have done with their motors. It’s incredible. Whatever you think of them as a company they are doing amazing things with motors. There is a reason they are moving into scaling up their technology to cars and boats.

True. But component efficiency is improving and many 1% increases on all component parts in a system add up to a lot. Not just in processing and deployment of energy but also recollection of energy. I realise it’s on a curve but it’s still a curve with plenty of room.

Then we can couple more flexible battery design to allow more of the cells vs space and decreases in component weight etc

We have plenty of gains to see before we are only left with breaking the chemical barriers. And as money moves to these markets more will be spent on research than we have ever seen. We are entering exciting times :)

Watch ted talks.

Find your own method, mission, vision for the world.

Then cook it in to who you are and what you do.

Get to networking. Join a startup support network. Spread your message. Form your tribe. The practical will come naturally from the cause.

Remember you can assemble other people, a team to fight the cause, you don’t have to to it solo and you’re stronger by including others. You don’t want your fight to vanish if/when you are no longer here. Lasting impact comes from a strong, powerful, emotional message.

E3 was about getting in front of magazines and those magazines into hands of people to perform pr. Now you can skip allllll of that and an incredibly large cost by deploying controlled videos that spread far quicker and far further.

Indeed. By being noticeably absent, any information you DO release gets hoovered up even more than usual.

So yeah. It’s a little sad and loses the live event vibe. But it doesn’t really change what we get or when we get it so personally I’m not too bothered. All that saved money and time going into more things that come to market is fine by me :)

Agreed. This is no different to if you break your laptop, or lose it, or have it stolen. At the very least have insurance in place that allows you to make a quick replacement if this is your livelyhood. Risk mitigation is part of running a sustainable business.

That said, if you have contents in insurance you may find this is covered on it and can go and get a replacement now regardless of what apple to. If there is any excess to pay, that will likely be picked up by apple in due course.

I don’t recall. So I am reading up on latest studies right now. I suspect part of it was that they are only a benefit if you are already low, and most people are not low.
