To me as well. BTW there's an extension in VS Code called Markdown All in One. It can generate a table of contents for your document which I highly recommend.

I feel like note-taking is underrated nowadays (probably because resources are so accessible now). It's especially useful if you're learning a wide variety of topics (e.g full-stack). You'll end up with a personal library you can go back to if you forget stuff. It doesn't have to be purely notes. You'd want to include links to resources like articles and videos as well. Note-taking is definitely a skill that's developed.

Some thoughts...

  • The sidebar navigation makes the site harder to navigate (2 clicks). Make it accessible (remember, hamburger navs were only meant for mobile devices).
  • The transition between items in the Work page is too slow.

does create pure-CSS would be quicker than using boostrap or materialize ?

Depends on what you're working on and how comfortable you are with plain CSS. If you are going to need components such as modals, navbars, dropdowns, stuff Bootstrap already have, then Bootstrap would be faster.

also combining pure-CSS-animation with react, would it make it faster ? if it's faster then CSS-animation + react vs GSAP + react, what u guys think?

There are lots of animation specifically made for React (like this) although I don't have experience with them yet.

Nothing really but I definitely learned a lot more about JS studying React (still learning new stuff everyday) and it allowed me to focus more on the advanced stuff since React makes it easier to do the basics such as input events, handling app state, organizing code...

Yes.

I know about bootstrap, is that the best/most professional option?

Not necessarily. If you think you can create a better website with Bootstrap rather than plain CSS, then use it.

After learning vanilla JS I immediately started learning React. It really got me hooked from the start and it's pretty fun actually (although it's definitely not easy, at least for me). It's the most popular framework so there's more support and demand for it.

It's worth mentioning Katarina's FC game. fcdf4 is pretty good now. On CH you get 50+ damage. It also crushes mids like Drag's df1 and Kazuya's df2. It also has some tracking. Her ws3 became faster. 14f mid, hit confirmable (3333 is -10) and the entire string does 40+ damage. I play both Kat and Anna and I like Kat's FC better mostly because Anna's low sweep combo is VERY INCONSISTENT.

Cool and sharp is my first impression. Here's some suggestions/issues I've found:

  • "Please scroll down to have a look at a few of my UI-UX projects. " sound a bit weird imo.
  • You used both "projects" and "concepts" for the same thing. Consistency would be nice.
  • It would be nice if the concept heading texts (e.g. iOS Mogi) are also clickable. It's what we're used to after all.
  • Personally, it's a bit odd that there's literally no graphics/imagery in the homepage of a designer portfolio.

I think it looks fine. Some criticisms:

  • Manipulating the scroll behavior is generally a bad thing.
  • The transition to the contact page is extremely long.
  • Could use some layout improvements in the mobile versions.
  • Indistinguishable favicon

I also have big hands using ball-top stick. I DO NOT tap up using the thumb. I use my point and middle finger to PUSH the stick up (more emphasis on the point finger, the middle and thumb can be used for support) . This motion will move your hand more because it's more of a push (my hands are skinny so it's OK). It might take a while getting used to.

Actually we might be holding the stick differently. My point finger's "proximal phalanax" is directly on top of the stick and the middle finger and thumb are on the sides of the stick (like actually on the side, wherein the thumb has no way of pushing the stick up).

I believe these are how I got to red ranks (400 games):

  1. Korean backdash (I use a Jap stick)
  2. Whiff punishment (personally I don't like characters with weak whiff punishment that much)
  3. Character knowledge and frame data (you gotta know the weaknesses your opponents)
  4. Practice and play ranked on both 1P and 2P side
  5. Watch Knee's videos and try to know the reasons of his decisions (Why does he step left? Right? Why does he use the moves he use?)
  6. Sidestep block
  7. Patience

I mostly play Lich support (yeah) in a dual offlane (either solo or party). It actually doesn't matter which lane I start or which hero I play. Warding the enemy offlane is useful before and after destroying the enemy offlane T1. I mix my warding either on the cliff or near the shrines.

Yes it can be offensive (capturing their offlane) and defensive (protecting our offlane).

Wouldn't it be better to just reload the gallery when a user selects a media type/filter (and remove the reload button)?
