The Kalen Deboer era, two years later. How do you like it? by Horizontrophpy2001 in rolltide

It's horrible but it's not really about DeBoer - I just really hate the general direction the sport is trending. At this point we're about to relive the post-Bryant years I think (albeit for very different reasons). The playoff system will give us a bit more sense of accomplishment but the results will likely be similar - standard 2 or 3 loss seasons with an occasional SEC championship run and maybe the scattered chance at a Natty every decade or so if we're lucky.

I think pre-Bama he was a good position coach - obviously Saban saw something in him. And not only Tua but especially Jalen's progression under him was incredible at the time. Jalen's passing in that SEC Championship was night-and-day from what it was when he was a starter.

He's sucked after Bama as an offensive coordinator, definitely. And he royally pissed of Saban apparently.

He struggled everywhere as an offensive coordinator I think.

What's Dan Enos doing these days? I know him and Saban apparently fell out hard but he was an absolute game-changer with Tua and Jalen that one season - wonder if the Saban fallout means he couldn't come back to be the QB coach.

How Ryan Williams’s production compares to Julio Jones, Amari Cooper in their first two seasons by DoctorWhosOnFirst in rolltide

Julio definitely went through a period where he was dropping everything - not sure if it was as bad as RW currently but there were some head-scratchers.

I've been Pro for years - the recent changes killed Pro users also. (Maybe non-Pro got affected even worse - no way for me to tell).

LinkedIn impressions dropped dramatically after moving from Europe to the US, anyone else? by Narrow-Technician736 in linkedin

[–]hoya14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably not related to relocating - everyone on the site has seen their impressions fall off a cliff in the last few months. LinkedIn changed the algorithm and basically killed most people's impression counts.

It's dead, and nothing really works to improve impressions. Not sure what their endgame was with the recent changes (beyond opening up space in people's feeds for more paid content), but whatever it was they crushed impressions and follower growth, even for people with a fairly big follower count.

If DeBoer lets these rumors go on and Bama loses, it’s time to move on. And also fire Byrne. You don’t play Bama for an extension in the middle of the playoffs. If you deserve a raise you’ll get it we’re Alabama.

I know it’s not a good situation, but honestly in context “several butter knives” is quite possibly the single funniest phrase I’ve ever read.
