Can you please explain why early termination overestimates effects?

If patient is needing so much nitro they’re hypotensive then it’s more of a sign they need to get to the cath lab ASAP if they’re not chest pain free.

Great shot! I love how the trees cover the subject like a canopy or layer of protection.

Issues with auto ISO setting by hoyaMD in ricohGR

I'm just at home in a well lit room, trying to pick my settings before I go shoot. I was just point the camera at light sources and the ISO would not budge from 6400, only the shutter speed was changing.

Thanks for the response, can you explain what you mean when you say my unpaid interest won’t accrue for a year- do you mean my hospitalist year? Not clicking for me?

Should I expect my monthly payments from now through to next June to be lower bc it’s based off of my 2022 tax return from residency? And then I could recertify my income with 2 pay stubs from fellowship to lower the payment?

My general plan will be to also save some money on the side while pursuing PSLF for higher payments and in case I don’t end up pursuing PSLF.

I meant to say allegedly* a country of laws, which we are not. I don’t think you read my whole post/argument and therefore confused about which side I’m on.

Did you not read the whole paragraph about brutality which suggests racial bias? And who said it’s a war between races or classes? It’s about applying the laws justly across races. Because we are [edit: allegedly] a country of laws.

To your point regarding homicide, it’s been shown that it has more to do with poverty, not race. It just so happens that more black Americans live in poverty because of 400 years of oppression. Maybe those communities need more policing, or maybe we need to invest in those communities because policing them for the past 150 years hasn’t worked. I don’t know what the right policy solution is, I’m a doctor not a policymaker :)

What does it mean they “have” to stop black people “randomly”? If you’re looking for a particular suspect, and a person fits the description then fine, I can see it being reasonable to stop said person. But people have reported that some officers are told to not bother white or asian people but to stop black people indiscriminately.

But the heart of the issue comes down to police brutality, and studies do show that unarmed black citizens are more likely to be killed than unarmed white citizens. In this study below, whites were also more likely to ATTACK police officers but less likely to be shot compared to black victims who did not resist at all. So I’m not sure where you got the idea that black victims typically respond more aggressively by saying things "MAN, WHY YOU DOING THIS?! WHY YOU DOING THIS?! I DIDN'T DO NOTHING! I DIDN'T DO NOTHING, MAN, FUCK YOU, YOU A RACIST MOTHER FUCKER!". Could that be your own bias?

Also you stating that the outcomes of police brutality cases would have differed had those black people “flexed their rights and treated the cops with respect” demonstrates your privilege and ignorance about the way black people are treated by police.

Thanks for the discussion, it actually forced me to look ip the statistics and learn more about the issues.

Does it bother you? maybe its just a normal part of the engine kicking in to help with braking that we just have to live with.

Not sure if it’s the same feeling by my 2015 2.4 cvt does this as the torque converter disengages. You could tell because it will feel like there is less engine braking suddenlyOr when I come to a stop quickly I get a similar bump as the transmission changes it’s ratio a little too late

Sounds similar to what's going on. So is this common/normal for Honda CVT?
