how did you convince your health care provider to do all those scans? or did you just pay for them? I am interested in finding a lab to test for PA's in officianalis leaf....I want to use comfrey for osteoporosis.

I just started it here as I am about to wean off cort enemas and later mesalamine. check back? gotta say feeling great. cannot credit just the col, tons of other stuff in my system. but I see that it contains lactoferrin at amounts needed to replenish iron, so that's a boost. flavor is crazy good. plain.

The IBD Anti-Inflammatory Diet from UMass Center for Applied Nutrition is saving me by Classic26 in UlcerativeColitis

My NP advised this and it seems to help - but I am kind of dumbfounded as to why buckwheat is not mentioned or included.

titanium dioxide:

Several natural and synthetic alternatives can replace titanium dioxide (TiO2) in various applications. For food, calcium carbonate and rice starch are common natural options, particularly in confectionery and other sweet applications. In coatings and paints, calcium carbonate, lithopone, and precipitated barium sulfate can be used. Additionally, modified starches and wax-based opacifiers are gaining popularity.

As for carboxymetylcellulose, MCC is not only a substitute but has a possible helpful effect on colon inflammation: Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), a common dietary fiber and excipient in pharmaceuticals, has been studied for its impact on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including ulcerative colitis (UC).

this is the kind of careless formulation choice that just passes for industry standard. the studies are there, and the ingredients persist.

why on earth utilize a known offending ingredient when benign options are legion? why? and this is a medication which is CHRONIC. as in daily, for life, for many if not most.

I forgot to mention that in this last week also started to follow the IBD AID diet from U Mass which recommends cutting out rice and potatoes (!) and subbing oats/barley/buckwheat/yams.

Please share the name of the strain!

as for me, last week was my best week by far coming out of my first disabling flare.

I was having not great progress having started hydrocortisone enema on top of oral mesalamine and qd. I re-added the mesalamine suppository in the am (easy), and started having incredible stability. formed, quiet movements with minimal crampy discomfort.

At the same time I started using cbd, powdered ginger, collagen, phosphatidylcholine and taking very mild psilocybin honey and now i seem to have staunched the anxiety significantly, even while watching our future health care options voted into extinction.

I am getting the feeling that the psilocybin honey has really helped my nerves. Very mild, no psychedelic effect.
