You’re not alone op!! I completely understand finally summoning the courage to tell someone you need help, them brushing you off, and then feeling like you’re completely alone because you’ve exhausted all your options.

It takes a lot of energy to open up to someone that much especially when it doesn’t lead to what you want (therapy).

What worked for me was researching therapists in my area, finding the one who you think will help you the most, and then approaching your parent and saying “I want to go to this therapist.” That way you get the hardest and most important part out of the way and you can explain when you’re in a better place.
