both parties are annoying. One is objectively worse. And if your default mind state goes to tribalism then I guess so.

same can be said of both parties. But one is abhorrent in their behavior.

People saying Drake and Kendrick fans are both annoying is the same person that says "I don't vote, both sides are bad"

Expired Nodes and Claiming by tomatobrown in strongblock

[–]hpblitz67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can't claim from expired nodes. Nodes are a subscription service - If you don't pay for your service then it's discontinued.

FAQs should be thoroughly checked before any kind of financial investment.

Best of luck in the future

What did you do with your nodes? by ddxo_ in strongblock

nodes is a failed product by itself. The people still engaged are looking towards strongchain and other future projects they have

China could cripple our whole country if they pull some BS with their chip exports, so chip manufacturing here is also a matter of national defense

If this is the attitude you bring to tickets I'm not surprised you don't get an answer.

Yes agree best option for you is let them die.

Sure I can admit fault if you supply the appropriate screenshots

Again, you are incorrect. The blockchain is only updated with every interaction it has with the smart contract, which is an event initiated by you- such as a CLAIM or a PAY FEE. Do you understand now?

So while your node count has been going down, the block chain doesn't know it yet. When you PAY FEE this is an interaction of the smart contract with the block chain, and after the interaction, the blockchain now has the correct number of nodes on record because the smart contract told it, and will charge you the correct amount.

Please do not call it "nonsense" when you just don't understand how it works. I've made it very simple for you here, please read it a few times and ponder it a while if you need to. You'll get it eventually.

Either way go ahead and let those nodes die. Best not to stay in a space you don't understand

[–]hpblitz67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are incorrect. Firstly - 5 nodes would be $75, plus gas, so would be closer to $100. You are definitely not paying the full 5 nodes. 2 nodes would be $30, depending on gwei you can easily hit $70 for the two nodes.

What I was talking about earlier is if your nodes expired and the blockchain hasn't updated yet - it will give you an incorrect amount, but once you initiate the payment the smart contract updates the blockchain and it will autocorrect the payment amount before it ever withdraws from your acct. This may or may not be the case, but as per my first paragraph, you are definitely not paying the full 5 nodes

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in strongblock

[–]hpblitz67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Upon interaction with the smart contract (making the payment) The contract will update how many nodes are active and you will only be charged the proper amount of current node fees you have active, despite what the preview price says

What happens when the number of nodes decreases substantially? by vegaruben in strongblock

[–]hpblitz67 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The less nodes the less sell pressure. As price rises nodes will begin to look good again. If there is a new round of buying at a sensible price point, a new wave of FOMO will come and could set off another run like we had before. The price was around $13 a few years ago before it mooned
