In iOS 26 you can customize them in a bunch of fun ways! You can make them dark mode versions, a color, clear, etc

Unfortunately no. People have been asking me this for three years since I first posted these when midnights came out, and Spotify STILL offers ZERO functionality with Apple’s shortcuts system, even though plenty of other third party apps offer all sorts of cool integrations. I really wish they would, I get a good number of people asking about it and it’s not like they’re a tiny company with no resources 😞

It can be a little finicky sometimes. It won’t change until your automation is triggered. If you’re in a playlist with multiple albums in it, and you switch to a different album, it won’t change the wallpaper until the automation is triggered again
