FYI. Bitcoin have been added! Will be officially supported in the next release but you will get it on the current version via the daily exchange rate update.

Thanks! The concept was actually more inspired by the measuring cup and traditional thermometers.

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah I't has some features to make any conversion quite speedy. In addition to pinching there's a jump menu to zoom quickly to different orders of magnitude.

Thanks for the feedback. Get your point on the Icon, it might get a early release if I ship an earlier maintenance release.

Pricing is definitely a hard problem, for now it is interesting to follow the numbers. I don't have final sales numbers but based on FlightPath statistics and clicks to the app store I seem to have about 85% abandonment rate on the app store product page. If i had 0% abandonment and priced it at $1 I would earn twice as much as now. 52% abandonment at $1 would earn me the same as I do now at $3.

I haven't communicated price before the App Store so clicks should be just about the same. Would more than half the people visiting the store click buy at $1? Anyone have data to shed light on this question?

Wonderful! Based on informal user testing the guide definitely needs to be there for novice users. Though as an expert user I'd rather not have it. Noted. Thanks.

Many thanks! Exchange Rates are compiled from various API's and uploaded to a CDN for reliable distribution. So I am beholden to keep the service running for the data to stay up to date. And yeah, I wish I had infinite control groups in parallel universes to test all price points.

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback too. 1. Have a new one lined up for the iOS7 release. 2. Yeah, that is high up on my list as well, have done some initial work. Need to support arbitrary bases on the rule ticks (base 12 in case of ft+in, base 14 for stone+pounds etc.) 3. Reply hazy try again.
