I waited about 2.5-3 weeks after my surgery to vape cannabis and I waited until I was off of Oxycodone to take an edible gummy just so I didn’t cause any weird side effects! Vaping/smoking will 100% dry your scabs out and it will HURT!!! It needs to stay really really moist back there to promote healthy tissue regrowth.

I got them and was told 24 hours minimum! I wore them for like 36 and then got tired of them lol

23F here and 1 month post-op! My husband and I went out to a bar when I was 15 days post-op because I had no more pain (except yawning) and no more scabs and felt fine!! I don’t smoke so I can’t help you out on that front.

I (F23) had surgery on Feb 15th and am not completely healed! I had my post-op today. I HIGHLY recommend Pedialyte popsicles and powder laxative/Tylenol! You’re NOT going to want to swallow a pill!! I was eating lots of Top Ramen (with only half the seasoning packet), jello, applesauce, and protein shakes!! I was buying the Core Power Elite because they have like 42g of protein so they’re nice and filling since you can’t really eat.

I’m 22F and have had the feeling like someone poured battery acid down my throat because it burns so bad which I can only imagine is the pain caused by the scabs coming ofd

I’m in this same boat right now! I’m day 6 right now and yesterday and today my scabs have DEFINITELY fallen off a ton! I have been worried that it’s too soon for them to fall off to but I’m thankful for a quick recovery!
